There is three different models for these size of winches.
This is the locking ring at the top, above the selftailing feeder arm, that looks the entire winch together.
Screws down on the winch stem to secure the selftailing feeder arm, the selftailing jaw kit and keep the winch drum in location. The recessed O-ring to the underside of the cap makes sure the cap does not come loose.
