The original Hallberg-Rassy Extension to Cockpit will fit perfectly to your Hallberg-Rassy 342 with Original Sprayhood as well as original Extension Frame and Fittings..
Extension to Cockpit is available in 3 different models. Model M-2 edition A, Model M-2 edition B and M-3.
Model M-2 edition A attach to the cockpit coaming with reinforced holes in the canvas to the stainless steel stud fitting on the coaming.
Model M-2 edition B attach to the cockpit coaming with rubber rings fitted to the stainless steel stud fitting on the coaming.
Model M-3 attach to the cockpit coaming with rubber rings fitted to the stainless steel stud fitting on the coaming.
Difference between Model M-2 and M-3 are positioning of the stainless studs. This pattern differs between the two models. There will also be a difference between the two different Model M-2. Best way forward is to go for the same model and edition as currently fitted to the boat.
